Lisa Clute is a lawyer with ten years of experience. She originally joined the firm in 1999, and returned in 2002, after working with White & Case in Moscow and London. Clute has experience in commercial litigation, international arbitration and corporate transactions. She has represented clients in cases involved in state and federal litigation, administrative proceedings and dispute resolution procedures in Texas, including eminent domain proceedings and other real estate matters.
Clute has advised foreign clients on the selection and structure of arbitration clauses and multi-party arbitration agreements, and advised a foreign client on a potential ICC arbitration against a Russian company. She advised a major Russian oil company on a judgment in a U.S. court and counseled shareholders of Russian and foreign companies on shareholder disputes and potential litigation. Outside of work, Lisa spends time remodeling her older home, working out at a boxing gym, and traveling with family and friends.
